Provenance:
The book was part of the collection of Maxwell Hunley, who acquired it at a Mark Twain sale in Hollywood, California in 1951 and sold it in 1963. It was sold at Sotheby’s with the Victor and Irene Murr Jacobs Collection in 1996. Its current location is unknown.
