My Dear House—

We have all reached home & are living in a couple of rooms, the rest of the house being in the hands (indefinitely) of carpenters &c. Where are you, & what’s your program?

O never revamp a house! Leave it just as it was, & then you can economise in profanity.

Ys Ever

Mark.
