That is only a suggestion; give it such weight as you choose. Ignore it, if you want to. Make your own trade with Chicago, & if thaere’s any reason in it I’ll ratify it.
But don’t submit picayune trades to me, like Crump’s & those Southern States—don’t ask me for advice in those d—d $2000-[cases.—]or cases like that New Orleans one. Just make the trades yourself, Dan——I started in to be a Figure-Head President & that’s what I am.
