I feel rich at [last,] my boy—may the Vaporizer’s tribe increase. I was meditating [reform,] but I have postponed, now—I want to see how Mr. Furbish’s stimulant is going to [taste,] first. [Give me some Vaporizer news, now and then, when you have any.] I like Vaporizer better [than] Generator—Generator always had such an indelicate obstetrical sound, some [how.]
All right—we will come and see you in your home if we ever get a chance. We should like that, first-rate. [About] a fortnight hence, I expect to run down to Washington for a few days, on a sort of copyright-law project. You and I could have a good time. [Will] you go?
With the love of this tribe to yourn
Yrs Ever
