Hartford, Feb. 28.
My Dear Bro—
Send me that conversation between Queen Elizabeth, Sr. Walter Raleigh, &c., by return mail, & keep no copy of it. I have reasons which I did not think of when you were here.
Got the new telephone up—private wire to Western Union telegraph office—& shall have no more bothers & aggravations about telephones. We were very sorry to hear of Molly’s bad cold. Livy ailing a little—all the rest well—& all send love.
Sam.
