My Dear Bro—Am just back from New York tired to death, but must write a line to unconfuse you. I don’t know who started that joke about my being connected with the Courant. I am connected with it only by telephone & in no other way. They send me a doctor when I ask for one; they send telegrams dictated by me; they receive telegrams for me & telephone the contents to me; in many ways they save me time, & are very kind & accommodating; but I have no more to do with owning or editing the Courant than you have.
