Dear old Bob—

They are the sweetest little rascals!—& what a dear good face Edith has. The little fat rascal on the half-shell captures everybody’s admiration, from her perch on our library mantel-piece.

I am ashamed to say we haven’t a picture of any member of this family—but we are always going to get some taken, & whenever we do, I will ship some to you. We both send love (not regards) to you both—& be sure you come & see us again.

Ever your old friend.

S. L. Clemens

P. S. We are planning to come to San Francisco some time next year.
