I rec’d your card written Thursday, I have been sick at heart for a letter, last night I felt as if I could not bear it an other day, the whole world looked dark I wanted a word from you so much, how could you go from Sunday until Thursday without writing me?—

I have got many loving things in my heart for you and I thought I was going to write them to you tonight, but I believe I am a little too much touched yet to write them—
I am so anxious to know just how the play looks to you, are you feeling thoroughly comfortable about it—I hope you will be sure to telegraph me Wednesday morning whether it is a success or not—
