My Dear Mrs. Fuller:
Since Frank left I have been too busy with home matters to attend to any business. Mrs. Clemens’ frail health is the [cause. So ] I have left the matter of the “Granger” book alone till Frank shall return. If it is a good thing it will keep—but if it were the best thing in the world I would have to let it alone until his return, anyway.1
The Modoc is well & hearty & joins us in warm regards & best [wi‸shes‸ th ]for you & Frank.
Samℓ. L. Clemens.
